Flag raising ceremony
The Australian flag was raised opposite the Community Hall in the town centre at 9.30 am – 10:15 am on Friday, 26 January. All were welcome to attend the ceremony, hosted by Clive Wilson.
Citizenship ceremony
LHIB was honoured to host a Citizenship Ceremony on Thursday, 25 January to welcome five new Australians.
Sandcastle competition
The annual LHI Sandcastle Competition took place at Ned’s Beach on Friday, 26 January, hosted by Jill Hiscox.
A range of incredible prizes was up for grabs across the eight competition categories.
There was also a sausage sizzle at the Fishing Club’s fundraiser from 12:30 pm.
