Jo Shead’s dance students of ‘The Lord Howe Island Dance School’ enjoyed a fun school holiday dance program from 14-18 April.
It culminated in a performance of the ‘Swan Lake’ ballet story at the Community Hall on Friday 18 April.
Huge congratulations to the students, aged 3-12, who learnt their parts in the choreography in a very short space of time. They performed beautifully!
70 people came to watch the show and enjoyed the performance.
Jessica Van Loon of ‘Van Loon Dance Academy’ in Manly, Sydney enjoyed working with the children to create this production.
The children enjoyed performing in costume in the dance styles of Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz.
We are so proud of them!
